Just as an alternative, we have a new PC-based application called Adondo Personal Audio Link (www.adondo.net). Once installed and running on your PC, you literally can call your own PC and have it do all kinds of things for you. Playing podcasts to you right over your cell phone--on demand--is just one of many features. Others include getting instant traffic reports ("What's the traffic on I-95N?") and reading your e-mail (almost exactly like hearing voicemail). You can use voice commands or press the keys on your phone to navigate.

It's brand new technology, and it uses Skype (or any other VoIP service) to make the phone connection between your PC and your cell phone.

Other features include reading blogs, getting weather reports and stock quotes, and voice-dialing any Outlook contact using a VoIP bridge (no long distance charges).

Adondo PAL is completely private and secure. There is no handheld device to lose and your data never leaves your PC.

The technology is brand new. Most functions are completely free if you already have Skype or another VoIP softphone service.
