    Get Organized with CoziAre you looking for a fun and easy way to keep your family organizedCozi may be just the website for which you are looking.  Cozi is geared for family use.  With Cozi you can keep track of appointments, keep track of lists and keep track of work schedules. You can share your favorite memories and more.  Cozi also recently launched the beta version of Cozi Mobile so that you can obtain access to your information.  Creating an account is an easy two step process.  Here’s a glance at Cozi.

    The Cozi Calendar
    What’s great about this tool is the focus on the whole family.  Each family is color coded so that you can easily identify each family members schedule.  When viewing the calendar you can view all family members or filter individual members.  The calendar gives you the option to send your schedule to your phone, print the schedule, and sync it to your Outlook email account.

    Screenshot of CoziIt’s very easy to create your lists with Cozi.  You can create grocery lists, to-do lists, recipes and more with Cozi.  In addition to creating your content you can also access it toll-free and have your lists read to you.

    • Cozi Journal you can upload a picture and add a few thoughts next to it.
    • Cozi Collage screen saver will create a nice screen saver from your My Pictures and Shared Picture folder.  The screen saver will also pull in your Cozi home page information.
    • Cozi Family Calendar Gadget brings your Cozi information to your desktop
    • Email – from Cozi you can also easily send messages to each family member.

    Are you heading out on an adventure and what to share your story?  Blogger Mobile may give you just what you need to share with friends and family.  Using your mobile devise and a blogger.com account you can send text or photos from your mobile devise and post them to your blog.  What a cool way to share your adventure with others.

    According to the Blogger help section the following providers will work with blogger:

    • Cingular
    • Sprint
    • T-Mobile

  • Yahoo! Photos and your Mobile Phone

    Do you enjoy taking photos on your mobile phone?  If you answered yes you may want to check out Yahoo! Photos.  Using Yahoo! Photos and your camera phone you can now upload your photos to your Yahoo! Photo account.  Then once your photos are in your Yahoo! Photo account you can do some pretty cool things. Here’s a couple:

    • Get unlimited screensavers with all your favorite online pictures.
    • Access your Yahoo! Photo albums where ever you are.  Plus you can check your friends’ online photo albums.

  • MSN Mobile On Your Cell Phone

    Are you an MSN fan?  Now you can put MSN on your cell phone. Using MSN Mobile you will have access to MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger, MSN Mobile Web, and MSN Alerts.  Now from virtually anywhere you can send emails, chat with friends, access your MSN inbox, and browse all the MSN sites you enjoy.  Here’s a bit of information about each.

    MSN Hotmail – If you have an MSN Hotmail account you can access it from your mobile device.  From your cell phone you can read and reply to messages, compose new email messages, and even receive alerts when emails land in your inbox.

    MSN Messenger – Now your friends can IM you even while away from your computer using MSN Messenger on your mobile devise.  Using your mobile devise you can send and receive messages, view who’s online, and get involved in group chats.

    Do you have a favorite podcast and want to listen to it on your cellphone?  Now you can with this cool web tool called Fonpods.  Fondods gives you the ability to listen to podcasts from your cellphone and no downloads are necessary!  How does this work?  Using your free account with Fonpods simply call the phone number provided and get access to your own custom podcast program list.  Fonpod will allow you to choose from their catalog or upload your own podcasts.  This service is free and no additional equipment or plugins are required to use Fonpods.

  • Go GPS with Google Maps and Helio Drift

    I came across a cool post on the Google blog talking about a cool mobile device called Helio Drift.  What’s unique about the phone is that it’s GPS-Enabled and works with Google maps.  What does that mean for you?  No more getting lost.  With a Helio mobile devise and Google maps your you can find your location at any time.  Just start Google maps and your positions will be marked by a little blue dot.  As you move the blue dot will always show your location.  Helio also has some other cool features worth checking out such as MySpace mobile, web surfing and searching, games, video and music, text messaging, instant messaging, picture messaging, and more.

    In addition, you also get some cool other features using Google maps on this devise (and other mobile devices).  Using Google maps on your mobile devise you’ll get satellite imagery, traffic reports, directions, and more.

    Gmail is now available for your mobile device.  At the beach, in the store, or wherever you go you can now access your Gmail, compose new emails, respond, and read your messages with very little clicking and scrolling.  That’s not all!  The Gmail mobile client also gives you the ability to search your inbox and access attachments.  To access this new application point your mobile web browser to http://www.gmail.com/app.  If you do not have a Gmail account you may set one up here.

     
  • Yahoo Mobile Search

    Ready to do some searching on your Mobile Phone.  I’ve mentioned Google’s mobile search now lets take a look at yahoo mobile search.  Yahoo offers two ways to search the Internet on your phone.  With Yahoo mobile search you can do a web search or an SMS search.  Let’s take a look.

    Yahoo Mobile Web Search, Image Search, and Local Search

    Yahoo search gives you the ability to search local to find your favorite restaurant, find a business, and more.  If you are looking for a picture simply type in “mountain”, “flower”, “beach”, etc. and select the image search button.  If you want to search the web type in your search phrase and select the “Web” button.

    SMS Text Messaging Search

    Using the SMS search Yahoo has made it easy to find what you are looking for.  Using the Y! Shortcuts you can quickly locate local listings, weather, stock quotes, dictionary definitions, Wifi Hotspots, area codes, and zip codes.

    Google Reader is now available for your mobile phone.  Google reader will allow you to stay on top of all your favorite blogs and websites for new content.  I know how difficult it can be trying to check all those favorites for new articles or content.  With Google reader you won’t miss a thing.  All from one location you can check the status of your favorite websites.  Now that Google Reader is available for mobile phones you are sure to get the latest information no matter where you may be.  To find out more about Google Reader visit their website.
